I see no reason that domain registries should be allowed to charge whatever
price they want. The proposed change allows abuse by the registy to
effectively extort businesses to keep websites vital to their business.

In effect, this change can damage assets of businesses that use websites.
Simultaneously, this hurts end consumers, who may not understand why a
website they use has gone away.
