Dear Sirs/Mesdames:   I am writing in support of the Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre application to become a dispute-resolution service provider under the ICANN Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.  The CIIDRC is uniquely qualified to administer disputes in this global market. With more than 30 years of experience in the administration of arbitration cases, the parent organization, the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre, is fully capable of assisting the CIIDRC in handling ICANN disputes in an efficient and expedited manner.  Vancouver is the gateway to the Pacific Rim and Canadian arbiters of global disputes have long enjoyed a reputation as neutral decision-makers.  In addition to this reputation for neutrality, British Columbia enjoys a solid reputation for having a stable judicial infrastructure with reliable courts and experienced lawyers.  The courts will come in aid of alternative dispute resolution decision-makers when required but in the common law tradition will not interfere with or allow improper interference with subordinate quasi-judicial processes.  British Columbia also enjoys a stellar reputation as Silicon Valley North with a robust IT sector.  The combination of geographic proximity, neutrality and expertise make British Columbia an ideal venue for dispute resolution, not only in the Pacific Northwest, along the West Coast including California but also for North America and globally.
