[community-finance] Conference Call - ICANN Update on FY15 Operating plan and budget process

Jonathan,
Our priority is to maximize participation to these calls. As a result, coordinating internally to avoid conflict with scheduled ICANN calls would run the risk that we do not take into account adequately other events that affect the ability of interested parties to participate. As a result, in order to allow for any constraint affecting the interested parties to be taken into account, we have used a doodle poll approach to try to capture any potential conflict, whether internally or otherwise, and gain the most attendance.
The day/time we picked for this call was the time where most people who responded to the doodle pool indicated they were available. Out of the 9 options we provided, 11 of the 14 people who responded to the doodle indicated that they could attend the time chosen.
I suppose that the people interested in attending the FY15 Budget update, who responded to the doodle poll, are not as much attending the name collision webinar.
I hope it helps clarifying the rationale for the day/timing chosen.
