[council] New GNSO Council Reps

In looking at the minutes of our last gTLD Registries meeting, I may have
jumped the gun on which one has one year and which has two year term. To
make a long story short, the terms are actually dependent on whether or not
there will be a third rep. from our constituency on the Council.

If there are three reps that are allowed, then what I stated below will hold
true (i.e., Cary getting the two year term, Ken getting the 1 year term).
IF there are only two reps, there may be a different outcome.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the reminder.

The 2 year term will be Cary Karp, and the 1 year term will be Ken Stubbs.
If a third rep is allowed, then Jordyn Buchanan will serve that applicable
term.

Thanks for notifying the council of your election results.

Please also note that the results must be notified to the "ICANN
Secretary"
As per http://www.icann.org/general/bylaws.htm#XX
Article XX, Section 5, clause 8:
".... shall provide the ICANN Secretary written notice of its
selections. Each constituency shall designate one of those
representatives to serve a one-year term, and one to serve a two
year-term. Each successor to those representatives shall serve a
two-year term.

You will need to identify which of the elected candidates will serve a 2
year term, and which a 1 year term.

I believe that Dan Halloran is presently the Acting Secretary for ICANN:
halloran at icann.org

I assume secretary at icann.org probably works also.

Regards,
Bruce
