There is nothing personal, Adrian . Chuck is the best – there is no question!!! But step aside and look at the situation outside of ICANN. If (and I hope!) we are entering new gTLD era people outside won’t care about personalities. They don’t know Chuck. They don’t know you, they don’t know Olga. They will check industries, countries and political groups behind the names. This is unfortunate, but this is how it works.

Why is that Andrei? Do you feel Chuck did not act in your best interests over the journey?

I’d be happy for a Chair (from either house) that gets the job done. There are rules of impartiality that surely steer us away from commercial vs non commercial…

I completely support this choice and would like to second Olga’s nomination. Don’t know if it is necessary or not, but this comes from my believe that at least for one year Chair must set far from commercial groups.
