[council] Council/Chair interaction

Jumping in at this point - I'd add that I don't see another mailing list
as necessary, but that on matters where better coordination and
communication are desirable (such as the issues Stephane identified in
an earlier email, e.g. budget, meeting planning and the like), the
Chairs of each SG, C and the Council might consider making it a practice
to communicate directly on these non-policy matters.

Provided, of course, that any discussion, issue and resolution are
passed along to the Council for clarification and transparency.

Cheers
Mary

Thanks for that clarification Kristina.

On the meeting, I will respond that the Council does not want me to
go.

On the email list, not many people have responded but those that have
are clearly against the idea. I will therefore ask for the list to be
suspended and inform the Chairs of this. They can then work through
their groups, and then through their Council reps, if they want it
re-activated.

Thanks,

Stéphane
