Dear Councillors,

The nomination period for GNSO Council chair is officially closed.

The following nominations have been received.


·         Jonathan Robinson - gTLD Registries Stakeholder Group representative,  has been nominated by Jeff Neuman from the Contracted Parties.

·         Thomas Rickert - Nominating Committee Appointee from the Contracted Parties has been nominated by Joy Liddicoat on behalf of the Non Commercial Stakeholder Group.


Nominees shall submit a candidacy statement in writing to the GNSO Secretariat (gnso.secretariat at gnso.icann.org<mailto:gnso.secretariat at gnso.icann.org>) as soon as possible after they have been selected and not later than 22:00 UTC on 28 September 2012.
