[council] [Soac-infoalert] ICANN 50 possible Thursday change

Dear Friends

I think we should be very cautious with any changes to the public forum.
The public forum stands at the center of ICANN transparency and
accountability and any proposals to shorten or weaken it should be
avoided at all costs. The public Board meeting is not vital for ICANN
and if it disappears or is shortened, I guess not many will mind. I
propose the public meeting should stay in length at usual.

Yours

Klaus
