Dear Brian,

It's up to Avri to consider whether this amendment can be considered
friendly or not, but it looks quite troublesome to me. It would almost
double the number of GNSO reps on the WG, significantly changing the
carefully agreed make-up.

Given that the ccNSO and ALAC have already approved the charter as is, how
should we expect them to react to a last minute change to the relative
numbers of representatives on the WG?

Should they go back and vote our amended version through again? (I can't
see them doing that.)

I am very concerned that this amendment would put the whole CCWG initiative
in jeopardy and don't understand why such a substantive change to a charter
that's been held up since May - at the request of the CSG - would be
suggested at the last minute.
