Are we at all able to campaign for additional slots, given the critical nature of this review to the GNSO's ongoing work? Surely we are the community most affected by the subject of review.

Hi,

to my knowledge this is still very much a black box, i.e. we do not know the number of slots or criteria for the choice. We assume our recommendations might carry some weight, but that may not be the case.

from the agenda I understand that the council is going to discuss endorsing “GNSO representatives” who then may be taken into consideration by the selectors (Fadi and GAC chair Thomas Schneider). I wonder whether there are criteria already available – in terms of quantity and quality – in order to facilitate this council decision until 13 Dec. Do we have to develop those criteria? Do we know how many slots will be available for the GNSO?
