Dear All,


Following yesterday’s GNSO Council meeting, please find attached the finalized GNSO Review WG Charter which has been updated to reflect the choice for option 1 in relation to the SCI (‘Upon completion of these tasks, and as noted above, any new requests will revert to the GNSO Review Working Group for consideration. Following the completion of these two tasks, the SCI will be disbanded as its work will have been superseded by the GNSO Review Working Group.’) as well as the clarification that any proposed recommendations that concern the GNSO Operating Procedures and/or ICANN Bylaws require full consensus of the WG (‘In the case of recommended changes to the GNSO Operating Procedures and/or ICANN Bylaws, only recommendations that have achieved full consensus of the WG shall be forwarded to the GNSO Council. All other recommendations shall be forwarded if they achieve either consensus or full consensus of the WG.’).



Unless there are any further concerns, staff will now proceed with the call for volunteers for the GNSO Review Working Group as well as notify the SCI concerning the Council’s decision.
