Thank you, Phil.  And thanks to all who helped work on this document. Marika has kindly moved your draft text into the standard GNSO Response format document, which you will find attached.

Also, many Councilors are aware, there have been some discussions between the drafters of the Response and the co-chairs of the SubPro PDP working group (Jeff and Avri), about a potential addition to our response. Because this doesn’t exactly fit in our usual format, it is included in this draft on a separate page (Page 5).

During our call today, we should discuss whether we want to send this response as it currently reads, or move the new addition to the Cover Letter, or use it as the basis for a larger (but separate) communication to the Board/GAC/ccNSO/ALAC.  All options are on the table for our call later today.

    Just a quick reminder that the motion and document deadline for the upcoming Council meeting is today (Monday 3 July at 23.59 UTC). As the GAC Advice is limited to one item, do you think it would be feasible to consider it during the upcoming meeting on 13 July? If so, you would need to submit at a minimum the motion by today’s deadline, with the template following shortly to allow for sufficient time to review. If there is anything else staff can do to assist, please let me know.
