Hi,

The latest version is the one sent prior to Copenhagen meeting, no
amendment was made since.

Best,

Rafik

Thanks Mary,

if I recall correctly there was a CCWG-IG meeting in Copenhagen where the
charter has been discussed as well. Were there any amendments coming from
this meeting?

Best regards

Wolf-Ulrich

Hello Wolf-Ulrich,

Rafik may have more updated information but as far as GNSO staff knows that
is the last version of the Charter, and is what was submitted to the
Council right before the Copenhagen meeting.

For your convenience, here is the direct link to the document comparing the
original and proposed revised Charter: https://gnso.icann.org/en/
drafts/comparison-table-ccwgig-charter-ccwgig-revised-charter-10mar17-en.pdf,
which is what was attached to the email of 10 March that James linked to in
his message.

Cheers

Mary

Thanks James,

just for better understanding: the link you're providing points to a
comparison table of the old end revised charter. Is this version of the
revised charter complete and the very recent update?

Or can somebody just circulate the very last complete version?

Thanks and regards

Wolf-Ulrich

Colleagues –

At our meeting at ICANN57 (Hyderabad) the GNSO Council extended its support
as a Chartering Organization for this CCWG, but tasked the leadership of
this group to review its charter, and come to ICANN58 (Copenhagen) with a
report of its findings and, potentially, a revised charter. (
https://gnso.icann.org/en/council/resolutions#20161107-3)[gnso.icann.org]
<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__gnso.icann.org_en_council_resolutions-2320161107-2D3-2529&d=DwMDaQ&c=FmY1u3PJp6wrcrwll3mSVzgfkbPSS6sJms7xcl4I5cM&r=DJ69mAe-idEhpAMF1nu2x6c2w3xl7xb5cjS_7sB4h6Y&m=O2OpGolElm5pBJO6LY1LqPjY_SeEG-KVsD2uRnVXvOw&s=S_gUjeHZpNcFbSV6hZ34fYeb-t9TQCd1jLnQN4H9Nco&e=>
As a result, the CCWG presented an updated charter shortly before our
meeting in Copenhagen, but the Council did not have sufficient time to
consider it during our Public Meeting at ICANN58 (http://mm.icann.org/
pipermail/council/2017-March/019816.html) Finally, we briefly discussed
this topic during our last meeting on 20 APR, but no action was taken. (

20apr17-en.htm[gnso.icann.org]
<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__gnso.icann.org_en_meetings_agenda-2Dcouncil-2D20apr17-2Den.htm&d=DwMDaQ&c=FmY1u3PJp6wrcrwll3mSVzgfkbPSS6sJms7xcl4I5cM&r=DJ69mAe-idEhpAMF1nu2x6c2w3xl7xb5cjS_7sB4h6Y&m=O2OpGolElm5pBJO6LY1LqPjY_SeEG-KVsD2uRnVXvOw&s=nJg1qGkr36GIwPzhPwZOaTMLUM3AmWBKh_MZygMZh5E&e=>,
Item #8).

I propose that we target our next meeting (18 MAY) for a decision on this
revised charter, and the GNSO’s continued participation as a Chartering
Organization in the CCWG.

With this in mind, I ask all Councilors to discuss the revised charter with
their respective SG/C (and here on the Council list) with the goal of
submitting a relevant motion supporting or withdrawing from this CCWG by
our Motion & Document deadline (currently 8 MAY).

Thank you,

J.
