Thanks, Heather.

I’m sure I’m being picky but maybe the front page of the report could show the new year :)

Best wishes to all councilors.

Dear Heather,

I am writing on behalf of Tom Barrett and Cheryl Langdon-Orr, the chair and co-chair of the NomCom Review Working Party (RWP). As part of the review, the RWP would like to make sure that the GNSO Council is aware of the progress of the NomCom review: the assessment report<https://community.icann.org/x/USJyB> has been published (also attached); a translation of the report’s executive summary will be made available in the coming days on the review wiki page<https://community.icann.org/x/USJyB>.

In this context, the RWP would like to encourage all GNSO members to provide the independent examiner with feedback, comments, and questions you may have with regard to the assessment report. Please, provide the GNSO’s feedback via the NomCom review mailing list by Friday 2 February 2018 23:59 UTC: nomcom2-review at icann.org<mailto:nomcom2-review at icann.org>.

To provide greater details on the assessment report, and to allow the GNSO and the wider ICANN community to provide on-the-spot feedback or ask questions, the Analysis Group will hold a webinar on Thursday 18 January, 20:00 UTC [local time<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Webinar%3A+NomCom+Review+Assessment+Report&iso=20180118T20&p1=%3A&ah=1>] – see also the relevant announcement<https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2-2018-01-10-en>.

In addition, the RWP will hold two public telephone conferences, open to all, during which the ICANN community is invited to provide feedback to the report: Thursday 25 January, 20:00 UTC [local time<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=NomCom+review%3A+public+review+working+party+meeting&iso=20180125T20&p1=1440&ah=1>] and Thursday 1 February, 20:00 UTC [local time<https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=NomCom+review%3A+public+review+working+party+meeting&iso=20180201T20&p1=%3A&ah=1>]; see also the relevant announcement<https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2-2018-01-10-en>.

If you or any members of the GSNO would like to participate in the webinar or the public RWP meetings, please contact mssi-secretariat at icann.org<mailto:mssi-secretariat at icann.org> to receive an invitation with all relevant details.

Please, feel free to share this information with the GNSO Council at your earliest convenience. The RWP is very much looking forward to hearing back from you, and, please, do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions or concerns about the NomCom review process.

Many thanks and best wishes.3
Lars Hoffmann, on behalf of:

Tom Barrett, Chair of the NomCom Review Working Party
Cheryl Langdon-Orr, Vice-Chair of the NomCom Review Working Party
