Dear Alan,



In May 2017, we informed the ICANN Board of Directors that the ccNSO did
not find itself in a position to nominate candidates for the RDS/ WHOIS2
Review Team, and deferred participation in this specific review.



On 18 January 2018, the ccNSO Council again discussed its participation in
the review. Following this discussion, by 16 February 2018, the ccNSO
Council decided not to participate in the RDS/WHOIS2 specific review.



The ccNSO Council thanks the volunteers who sought endorsement of the ccNSO.
