Dear all,

The GNSO Chair 2019 election timeline was part of the AOB agenda item on the GNSO Council meeting held on Thursday 16 May 2019. Due to lack of time, AOB was not covered.

As you may be aware, the GNSO Chair election timeline usually follows the GNSO Operating Procedures guidelines. As mentioned during the GNSO Council meeting in Barcelona, funded traveler names now need to be submitted 120 days prior to the meeting rather than the previous 90-day deadline. Staff has therefore adjusted the two first lines of the below timeline table to match the 5th July 2019 deadline for the Annual General Meeting. Stakeholder group and constituency leadership teams and secretariats were informed of the new funded traveler deadlines when they were announced.

From the third line of the timeline onwards, the dates are in keeping with the GNSO Operating Procedures. This timeline will also be circulated to the stakeholder group leadership teams and secretariats.

GNSO Sec posts election results and notifies ICANN Board Chair

8 November 2019

GNSO Sec confirms GNSO EC representative to EC Admin & Secretary
