The Expression of Interest<https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-gnso-call-for-expressions-of-interest-chair-of-the-epdp-on-idns-2-6-2021-en> process for the IDN EPDP Chair closed on Friday, with one application received.



Having reviewed the response to EoI, leadership team is happy to recommend Edmon Chung as Chair for the IDN EPDP. You will find Edmon's SoI here https://community.icann.org/display/gnsosoi/Edmon+Chung+SOI.



The consent agenda for the next Council call will be updated shortly but we wanted to draw you attention on this, if you have any concerns with this appointment, for you to raise them on the list before our call.
