Dear Council Members,

On behalf of Council leadership, I am pleased to inform you that following our review and evaluation of the expression of interest that was received, we are recommending that the Council appoints Michael Palage as Chair of the Registration Data Accuracy Scoping Team. We truly appreciate Michael's willingness to take on this role and have full confidence in his ability to lead the Registration Data Accuracy Scoping Team.

We expect formal confirmation to take place during the upcoming Council meeting on 23 September as part of the consent agenda, unless there are any concerns or questions that need further consideration. If so, please flag these accordingly on the Council mailing list.
