The Informal Council dinner will take place on Tuesday 20th September 2022 at 19:30 MYT.



The venue carefully selected by Justine Chew, after considering many, many different options and criteria, is Chocha Foodstore (https://www.chochafoodstore.com ). It is located in Chinatown, in an architecturally interesting space and serves modern Malaysian cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.

Justine has worked closely with the restaurant staff and has selected the chef’s menu which you can find attached. Several councilors have indicated food restrictions, you will be able to select a meal a la carte once onsite.



Price per head is 188 RM pp approx., each councilor will pay for their own meal, individual card payments will be possible.



All councilors have RSVP-ed, please let us know if you are not able to make it. Any late cancellations will be billed as is the norm with group bookings.


The address for the Chocha Foodstore is : 156, Jalan Petaling, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, a 20 min cab ride from the venue.

Please make sure you leave early to avoid traffic. Justine will be offering a guided walk of Chinatown before the meal for those who want. Further information will be provided closer to the date.
