<p style="margin:0in"><span style="color:black">I am writing to announce a change to the GNSO Council’s Standing Standing Committee on ICANN Budget and Operations (SCBO). You will likely recall the email I sent on 16 November, which itself followed a joint
GNSO Council & SC/G Chairs call on 26 October where this change was first discussed. After seeking input from all of you, it seems that there is support to pursue the change to the SCBO, which at a high level will convert it from a Council-specific standing
committee to a GNSO-wide forum to discuss the ICANN budget. As I’ve previously communicated, Council leadership believes this is a positive change that will support broader and more consistent understanding of the ICANN budget across the GNSO, as well as streamline
our communications with ICANN Finance. Accordingly, the Council and SG/Cs should all be better prepared to draft any public comments they are considering submitting.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
