<a href="https://www.icann.org/en/announcements/details/icann-opens-nomination-period-for-dr-tarek-kamel-award-for-capacity-building-03-07-2023-en" target="_blank">
Dr. Tarek Kamel Award for Capacity Building</a>, which they believe she is very deserving, particularly given the work she did for the APAC region.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Nominations close on 4 August 2023, but RrSG have graciously offered the GNSO council to be a joint nominator. They expect to have a draft ready early in this week that we could share for input/review. Please let us
know if the GNSO Council supports these efforts.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
