Hi Alan,

I don't have a specific project in mind at the moment.

I'm merely exploring the idea of whether or not there's an opportunity for
money from the future grant program to be used by At-Large in order to
pursue At-Large business as defined by the following ICANN bylaws ...

12.2.d.x

(B) Keeping the community of individual Internet users informed about the
significant news from ICANN;

(C) Distributing (through posting or otherwise) an updated agenda, news
about ICANN, and information about items in the ICANN policy-development
process;

(D) Promoting outreach activities in the community of individual Internet
users;

(E) Developing and maintaining on-going information and education programs,
regarding ICANN and its work;
...

IF

At-large business, as defined in ICANN bylaws noted above, overlaps with
objectives found in CCWG Recommendation #3

AND IF

the At-Large Advisory Committee (or a sub-group within At-Large) is
eligible to receive grant money

THEN

It might make sense to initiate an At-Large activity to pursue this
opportunity

IF NOT

There's nothing to be excited about here, and it's time to move on. :-)

Cheers,
David
