[CSC-Announce] Findings on PTI Performance for January 2021

Dear Community Members,

It my pleasure as chair of the Customer Standing Committee, to provide you with our monthly findings on the performance of Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) over January 2021. I am pleased to inform you that the CSC could conclude that PTI’s performance over January 2021 was “Excellent”– PTI’s performance was 100%.  In January 2021 PTI met all of the currently 64 defined thresholds.

At its last meeting the CSC started to look more in-depth to the manner in some of the thresholds have been defined, specifically to how the duration of manual processing timelines have been defined.  The current list of thresholds is included in PTI’s performance report. This report to the CSC including the listing of the individual service level metrics along with their actual and historical performance, can be found at: https://www.iana.org/performance/csc-reports.

Starting at its January meeting, the CSC together with PTI started to have a closer look at the results of the PTI Customer Satisfaction Survey. The review of the survey results was continued at the last meeting.  One of the results of this review is that for the upcoming 2021 survey the CSC will assist PTI in encouraging direct customers to respond to the survey.

Generally, the CSC regular meetings are scheduled on or around the 15th every month, and the CSC Findings report on the PTI performance is sent out shortly after that. The next telephone conference call is scheduled for Wednesday 17 March 2021 at 10.00 am UTC.
