Thanks Gema .. I see your point and don't think we should be forcing answers or requesting a binary answer to any of those questions ..
By the way, we agreed to have no mandatory questions .. so respondents can choose to answer some or all of the questions ..

Anyway, let me try to suggest this .. Would it be acceptable to you, Carlos and other colleagues if we just mention those points between brackets in “#5 - Further Comments”, as examples of further comments GAC members may wish to share; and leave it up to each and every member to comment on those points, other points, or leave the whole box empty ?

Dear Carlos, 

I have some comments to the questions you suggest to add. The CG wants to measure how useful the Quick Look Mechanism has been. Other considerations, such as consultation with stakeholders back home, resources devoted by national administrations to ICANN participation, the level of commitment of respondent in PDPs or WG... are not the aim of the Consultation Group and could be better addressed in other contexts.

I would suggest to bring up some more pointed questions between “#5 - Further Comments”  and #6 (for GAC respondents), to try to measure impact of the effort a little deeper and promote more concrete comments, something like

“Has the past experience with the quick look mechanism # helped you to explain to your Principals and other national stakeholders the relevance of the policies to be developed?
## helped to increase the interest from your Government and/or other national stakeholders in the ICANN Policy development process?
### helped to increase  resources your Government plans to dedicate to ICANN (time, staff research) in the future for the upcoming policy cycles #### are you following regularly the calls and meetings of those 3 PDPs? 
Or any other WGs?
##### any other suggestions on how to enhance collaboration……(as per
#6)


I guess the questions can be drafted carefully and I would expect some deeper comments or initiatives.
