Hi Kristina,

 

Thank you for the question. 

 

The short answer is no – yes/no questions are not required to be answered to continue through the Google form.

 

The only exception is the four questions marked with a red asterisk. These questions appear on pp. 1-2 of the form. Specifically, a commenter must fill out their email address, name, affiliation, and answer yes/no to specify if they are answering questions on behalf of another group.

A question has come up about the Google form being used for public comments:  For the “yes/no” questions, is the person completing the form required to select “yes” or “no” in order to progress through the form?
