[gnso-gac-closed-generics] Timeline expectations from the ICANN Board

Dear all, The ICANN Board is planning to accept many of the SubPro
recommendations during their meeting on Thursday 16 March, and to ask ICANN
org to work out a detailed timeline for the next round of gLDs. However,
there are some dependencies. One of the dependencies is on the Closed
Generics work. The Board resolution to be passed on Thursday will probably
ask that the work of this group must be complete, and any subsequent GNSO
policy work must have a project plan and a timeline (but does not itself
need to be complete) by the end of the ICANN77 meeting.
