In addition to the points mentioned, owing to the fact that the economics of the next rounds might be higher in cost to the applicant such that the difficulties faced might be stipper than those experienced the last round this guidance calls for careful consideration.</div>

<p style="margin:0in; font-family:Arial; font-size:9.5pt; color:black">An example - DotKids was the only successful applicant under the 2012 ASP (DotAsia had been supporting this community initiative since before the round opened). </p>

<p style="margin:0in; font-family:Arial; font-size:9.5pt; color:black">Although assigned in the first round, DotKids was not officially launched by DotAsia until
<u>Nov 2022</u>, and since its launch now has about 4300 DUMS. It will remain with DotAsia until it becomes economically viable (about 10,000 DUMs) at which point it should be able to afford a couple of its own staff to manage its own registry. It is estimated
that this might take another 5 years. In the interim, DotAsia continues to provide personnel, technical and registry support (and realistically will provide extra support for more years after).</p>

<p style="margin:0in; font-family:Arial; font-size:9.5pt; color:black">Do the results of this community domain fit the indicators of success we are setting for this next round of ASP applicants, especially our targetted groups?</p>

applicants equally?... especially in light of the continued support still required by our 2012 ASP applicant who hails from one of the underserved regions we are targetting?</span></p>
