I should have made it clearer in my initial email that the material we’d posted was not necessarily meant as “homework” for everyone to complete by today; rather, it’s a preliminary compilation of prior research that we hope will assist the WG as it proceeds with its initial work. As you’ll see from the Work Plan, we are recommending that the WG consider the data and research as well as ICANN background work done to date at an early stage, and so any questions for follow up or need for additional research or “gap filling” can be identified as part of that initial phase. </div><div><br></div><div>For today, we’ll briefly walk the group through the documents we have found, as a first step toward assisting with that initial work.
