[Gnso-newgtld-wg] Applications which are "stuck" from the 2012 round

Actually, there are some stuck applications that are within scope for the PDP, the ones related to closed generics. We have a total of 3 topics in the charter related to previous procedures:
- Closed generics of the 2012 round
- Name collision readiness for the 2012 round applications
- SLD name collisions in all gTLDs (mostly legacy, could be 2012 round).

We would need to consider this if any sort of recommendation were going to be made with respect to “special considerations” mentioned by Trang.

I note this in part because although the status of these is listed as “Not Approved” by ICANN, some of these applications have not actually been withdrawn.

But if we think we can somehow expand the scope, (i.e. with an amendment to the Charter from GNSO?), we would still need advice from ICANN Legal if we are going to make any recommendations on applications from the 2012 round.
