I am not in this group as a liaison. The Board does not have one with
this group as it do not think it was requested to appoint one.  Except
for the ePDP, I think Board liaisons have mostly been confined to Cross
Community WGs. My participation in the group is vestigial and individual.

But, in the multiple hat category,  I do currently coordinate the
Board's New gTLD SubPro caucus group and can try to respond to
questions, especially those for clarification.  In most cases I would
take the specific  question from the WG back to the Board caucus group
to develop a response.

I believe we are not singling out any specific functions at this point
because we do not want to interfere with the bottom-up process and do
not know which, from among the many possibilities being discussed, will
be recommended. The concern focuses on the hope that if new functions
are added that they include consideration on how these fit the ICANN
scope and mission.
