Dear Glen,

Since the Address Council of the ASO is narrowly focused on numbering policy and advice to the ICANN Board, we don't typically offer input into any other ICANN matters.  I need to be careful also because while I don't restrict my AC members from offering individual input, that input must never be considered as input from the ASO nor the ASO AC.

The other part of the ASO, namely the NRO Executive Council (aka the 5 RIR CEOs) are not so restricted.  They may elect to participate individually or as a team as appropriate.  And the chair of the ASO itself for 2015 is Adiel Akplogan.

The reply from Ray on my other message provides an indication of the care we must take in the ways we participate.
