I agree with Kiran that adding time may exclude the ability of some
members to be heard during these meetings. From personal experience, I
remember arriving near the end of the Friday meeting in LA and my ears
were ringing when I heard about all the things that had already "been
agreed upon" by the members present.
OTOH, I appreciate the usefulness of these sessions for substantial
discussions that can go deeper than the weekly one hour calls.
I therefore support the additional day, but would encourage not to
declare agreement on various contentious issues when some members have
not even had a chance to be heard on these. "Discuss, not decide!",
should be the general sense of this meeting.
I do not support Kirans other suggestion though, as our weekly schedules
are full enough with ICANN as it stands, and we all have day jobs (and a
private life) too...
