[gnso-rds-pdp-wg] Proposed Agenda - First Meeting of Next-Generation RDS PDP WG

Dear All,

Please find below the proposed agenda for the first meeting of the GNSO Next-Generation Registration Directory Services (RDS) Policy Development Process Working Group. Susan Kawaguchi, the GNSO Council liaison to this Working Group, will serve as the interim Chair until the WG has had the opportunity to formally select a chair(s).

For those interested to become more familiar with the communication tools used for GNSO PDP WGs, please note that you should have received an invitation earlier this week from Nathalie Peregrine for a GNSO WG Communication Tools Classroom session that may be of interest to you.

As the nomination of a WG Chair(s) is expected to take place during the first meeting, volunteers are encouraged to express their interest ahead of the meeting. As you consider volunteering, please take into account the tasks and desired skills as outlined in the attached document.

Please make sure that you have completed your Statement of Interest and/or updated your existing one as applicable. You are also encouraged to review whether we have listed your affiliation correctly, or if there is none, to confirm your affiliation off-list.

  4.  Scheduling of meetings
  5.  Principles of transparency and openness
  6.  Election of WG Leaders
  7.  Items for review: WG Background materials, WG Charter, Working Group Guidelines, GNSO Policy Development Process
  8.  Development of work plan: it is required that WGs develop a work plan that outlines the necessary steps and expected timing in order to achieve the milestones set out in the WG Charter
  9.  Confirmation of next meeting / next steps
