[GNSO-RPM-WG] Proposed Agenda for RPM Meeting on 7 Aug 17:00-18:30 UTC

Hello Susan and everyone,

Thanks for drawing the staff’s attention to some problems with that wiki page. We think we have located and fixed the issue, so you should be able to have the documents open automatically now when you click on the link (as opposed to having to download it first). Please let us know if you continue to encounter this or any other problem.

If it will help Working Group members refresh your memories, the staff recollection is that the difference between the “annotated” open TMCH questions poll (document dated 25 July 2017) and the non-annotated version (dated a week prior) is that, for the former, we included notes as to the percentage of “Yes/No/I can live with this” respondents from the various groups that completed the poll.

Thanks and cheers
Ariel, Julie & Mary

Hi Ariel
I think it would be helpful to also circulate the poll results on open issues. There is a link to an annotated version referred to in the page for this meeting https://community.icann.org/display/RARPMRIAGPWG/2017-07-26+Review+of+all+Rights+Protection+Mechanisms+%28RPMs%29+in+all+gTLDs+PDP+WG, but I cannot access the document - could you please send it round as a PDF?

The previous meeting had an earlier unannotated version of the poll results https://community.icann.org/download/attachments/66091891/Open%20TMCH%20Questions%20Poll%20Results%20-%2017%20July%202017.pdf?version=1&modificationDate=1500486659000&api=v2

Dear RPM WG members,

Please find attached the materials to be used during this week’s call on Wednesday, 7 August at 17:00-18:30 UTC.

  1. Chronological listing of source documents for the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) – this document lists milestones in the development of the final form of the TMCH, including links to relevant documents and resolutions. The RPM WG had already seen this document in 2017; the update is the inclusion of relevant resolution text from the GNSO Council and the ICANN Board.

  1. Summary of Proposals Relating to Open TMCH Charter Questions – this document includes the open TMCH charter questions (Q7, Q8, and Q10) as part of the TMCH review, as well as proposals submitted in 2017 related to those open questions. The document was originally circulated on 17 May 2017. In the meantime, the WG Co-Chairs are discussing other updates to these and other TMCH documents relating to questions deferred from the WG's 2017 discussions.

Kindly review the documents in advance of the meeting.

Best Regards,
Mary, Julie, Ariel
