- The only person unable to attend the call is Renata. She provided approval for the plan over email.

- Current status: A call was held on Monday (17 April) to discuss options going forward. There was a desire to have more balance in the representation of candidates, recognizing the SSC is expected to select a top three candidates with up to four additional candidates.

- There was general agreement that group would like to recommend that the GNSO Council consider the top four recommended candidates as primary with guaranteed seats.

- Julf will put forward the proposal to the GNSO Council. If the Council does not does not support this approach, Julf will withdraw the motion and request additional time for the SSC to deliberate on selection of the top 3 candidates.

- All are in agreement to go forward with this approach.

- ACTION ITEM: Marika will send final red-lined version of the motion after this call.

- The GNSO Council meeting is on Thursday at 21:00 UTC. Following the meeting, staff will report back with the outcome. If the GNSO Council accepts the SSC proposal, the SSC can move forward with its next assignment, the GNSO representative to the Empowered Community. If it does not, the SSC will resume deliberations on the RDS-RT candidates.
