Hi,

I wanted to underscore Julf's point by saying that the first GNSO liaison call for candidates (which was several years ago) also received only 1 candidate.  The SSC made the decision that the single  candidate was not qualified and reopened the call for EOI's.    If memory serves, that's how we found Julf! There is no obligation to choose the single candidate.  That being said, our sole candidate this time appears to be well qualified.  I look forward to the discussion.
