[Gnso-ssc] Update re: Consensus call Closed - GNSO Alternate Non-Registry Liaison to the CSC

Dear SSC members,

During the GNSO Council meeting held on Thursday, 20 July 2023, councilors voted in support of the appointment of John Gbadamosi as GNSO Alternate Non-Registry Liaison to the Customer Standing Committee. The corresponding resolution has been posted here [gnso.icann.org]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/gnso.icann.org/en/council/resolutions/2020-current__;!!PtGJab4!8mIo5DqUEyXu1YeVq5fdVGWr3PhI99kqGtf1vY56s8UVI2sT4pS5PqCz2BnNUcZZ0PCvYBOKMX2p6BzbrCaqNqsEZJmVn1s$>.   John has been notified of the decision accordingly.

The consensus call is now closed. Seeing no objections to putting forward John Gbadamosi as the GNSO Alternate Non-Registry Liaison to the CSC, this will be considered a recommendation by full consensus for the Council’s consideration during its 20 July 2023 meeting.

As a follow-up to today’s call, the SSC has reached preliminary agreement to recommend John Gbadamosi as the GNSO Alternate Non-Registry Liaison to the CSC.

Please note that the SSC operates via full consensus. If you have comments about the candidate, or object to this recommendation, please respond on the mailing list no later than Friday, 14 July at 15:00 UTC. If no objections are received, the SSC will consider this to be a full consensus recommendation and submit it to the GNSO Council.
