Registrars are allowed to set their own prices for this service so some may choose to charge a fee. However, a transfer cannot be denied due to non-payment of this transfer fee. I have recently been informed that some registrars charge a fee for issuing a TAC to the Registered Name Holder. The examples given to me is a fee of USD 250(!) for sending a TAC to the RNH.<br class="">
<br class="">
I have also been given examples of registrar charging for accepting a transfer out, purely for the «job» that has to be done.<br class="">
<br class="">
My question is whether this (IMHO) unfriendly practices should be discussed in our working group and (maybe) incorporated in the new Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy.<br class="">
