Dear members of the working group,

in preparation of tomorrows call I like to give you a brief updated on the
currents status and the purpose of the call.

Regarding our proposal to organize a pilot leadership training programme in
Buenos Aires we are still in the waiting mode. But as far as I am aware,
it is still in the budget. The FY 14 budget will be published in Durban or
shortly thereafter and we will then receive the final decision on our
request.

However our meeting in Durban is scheduled for:

Monday, 15 July 2013

Academy Working Group Session

Time: 12:30-14:00
Meeting Room: Hall 2AB

I hope many of you can make it possible to attend this working lunch. The
timing might not suit all of you but it was the only available 90 min
timeslot.

In preparation for this meeting, during tomorrows call I like

1. to provide you an update on the development of the Online Education
Platform (OEP)

2. Discuss how the WG organizes to provide input to the OEP, i.e.
formation of subgroups for:

a. crafting a matrix of all the training programs funded and conducted
by ICANN to see whether coordination or supplementation are needed.
(proposal by Hong)

b. working on the curriculum for the Pilot

c. discussing and reaching out to participants and trainers

3. gather your feedback for the Durban agenda

Looking forward to talk to you tomorrow.

Best Sandra
