The ICOBS - IANA CONSESUS BUILDERS
sorry, i have read too many contracts, internet governance papers and government statements in the past 48 hours; this had a very bad effect on my sunday afternoon humour. but seriously: it says what we are, or at least what we should try very hard to be.
as to physical meetings: as few as possible please! one to kick off and one to finalise a draft proposal should be sufficient. let us use the internet to do the coordination part. let us save time and energy to talk to the communities rather than waste time, energy and money to travel, meet and spend time among ourselves.

You’d be warmly welcome in our Honolulu meeting (Nov 9-14) for instance :-) Or our upcoming Toronto meeting that starts a day after the coordination group meeting in London ends. Future meetings are at http://www.ietf.org/meeting/upcoming.html We also have an IETF policy guest program run by ISOC, a very popular program and something that you might consider if you have not been to an IETF meeting earlier.
