[IRT.RegDataPolicy] Rec15 Analysis Call to Close IRT comments

Hello team,

Can someone explain to me the reasoning here. I don’t quite grasp how I can justify this retention period to my DPA based on the following:

“In the interim, the EPDP team has recognized that the Transfer Dispute Resolution Policy (“TDRP”) has been identified as having the longest justified retention period of one year and has therefore recommended registrars be required to retain only those data elements deemed necessary for the purposes of the TDRP, for a period of fifteen months following the life of the registration plus three months to implement the deletion, i.e., 18 months.9”

We have a policy that says one year, but the EPDP thinks 18 months is reasonable?

Thank you,

Luc

Dear IRT,

I am calling to close IRT comment on the recommendation #15 regarding retention.
Please note that there are multiple activities that this recommendation requires and the analysis have identified those tasks.
The call here is to find out if there are any outstanding IRT comments with this implementation approach.
