Dennis, IPT, and IRT,

I’m ok with closing Rec #22. This recommendation was never intended to result in new consensus policy. Instead it is a recommendation for ICANN org to enter into appropriate data protection agreements with dispute resolution providers.

I never understood the link to Rec #19. While similar there are sufficient difference that they can’t be combined. Sarah nicely summed up that point in a September 20th email to the IRT list (https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/irt.regdatapolicy/2019-September/000157.html) I understand Dennis’ response on September 26th as agreeing with her (https://mm.icann.org/pipermail/irt.regdatapolicy/2019-September/000174.html).

The last sentence in the notes section indicates that the IPT is working on updating the relevant agreements and will provide them to the IRT for review. Are those agreements available anywhere yet?

Thanks,
Marc
