Dear ISPCP members

We have not yet had an opportunity to discuss how we respond to this
invitation. Against that background responding today would be particularly
challenging, but we should be prepared to offer input late in the week.

I welcome your input and guidance.

Tony

Subject: Public Sessions on Recent Board-GAC consultations - Community Input

Sending on Behalf of Peter Dengate Thrush

To: Chairs of ALAC, GNSO Council and the Chairs of the GNSO

Stakeholder Groups:

As you know, ICANN is holding workshops Monday and Wednesday to

discuss the remaining issues discussed during the recent Board-GAC

consultations.

After the initial consultation the Board has graded these new gTLD

issues as to whether the GAC and Board are: in agreement, in

agreement in principle with some changes to be made, or in

disagreement on each of the issues raised by the GAC.

The purpose of these workshops is to receive community input on how

the outstanding issues should be resolved, especially those where

the GAC and Board are in disagreement.

We invite you or a person you nominate to speak regarding how the

outstanding issues should be resolved. We are looking forward to

your leadership in focusing the discussion toward practical solutions.

Please respond to Kurt Pritz regarding your plans.

Sincerely,

Peter Dengate Thrush
