[NCAP-Discuss] NCAP Announcement: Patrik Fältström takes on 2nd co-chair role, final request for any volunteers for 3rd co-chair role

Fellow NCAP Discussion Group members,

A hearty THANK YOU to Patrik Fältström for agreeing to re-assume the role of co-chair of the NCAP WP to replace Jay Daley.  Jay, unfortunately, had to leave us as part of his new role as IETF Executive Director.  Fortunately, we have a great replacement in Patrik, who worked as co-chair with Jim in the initial phases of the NCAP work when we created the initial scoping to propose to ICANN.  His $dayjob duties prevented him from continuing that role, but he now has time to come back to that role for the SSAC.  This will help immensely with keeping our meetings going on a regular pace.  It will also help us maintain the momentum we have generated now that we have a contractor working on phase 1 and the discussion group spun up on looking at the Board questions.  

Let me use this opportunity to remind discussion group members that the NCAP Admin Committee will be selecting a third, non-SSAC member, co-chair from the Discussion Group shortly.  We have had a couple folks raise their hand already, and you can consider this email to be a final call for volunteers for that position.  Please make your interest known to the NCAP Admin Committee no later than EOB, Monday, December 2, 2019.  You can contact myself, Jim Galvin, Patrik Fältström, and/or the secretariat to let us know of your interest.  As per our plan, the NCAP Admin Committee will consider all interested individuals and select a third co-chair to balance out the chairs.

We are all looking forward to substantive discussions and progress on our work.
