[NCAP-Discuss] Ad measurement questions from NCAP DG call

Geoff,

A few questions came up on the NCAP DG call last week about the Ad measurement system.  Would you be able to provide some color on the following two questions?


  1.  Are there any experimental controls during the resolution of the Ad? This question was trying to address types of false positives. Something to the effect of having an additional DNS query to a known domain in the public Internet as a control mechanism.
  2.  Are there any constraints or limitations of this Ad measurement for systems and or networks that are not browser oriented (e.g., IoT types of things)?
