Thanks Tom for your prompt response,
Yes, I know some SOs or constituencies does have shortages of volunteers to
serve on the NomCom.
But we can find some of the NomCom members who enjoy this role do move from
SO to ACs or vice versa taking the chance from other community members. In
some SO/ACs we find plenty of volunteers.

Regarding your suggestion on the transitional phase,  it is not practical
due to odd/even year.

In all cases, the standing committee will keep a record to track the NomCom
members for an advise to the appointing bodies as it is public information
as we can see here:

My suggestion is not to include this fresh restart and leave the term
appointment flexible to the appointing bodies to interpret it upon their
convenience.

This will lead to the point of the 2yrs x 2terms which should be an advise
and not a must condition. Because in all cases the shortage of volunteers
in some constituencies will continue to exist.

Maybe we put this point on the agenda for the coming meeting.
