[Npoc-discuss] Introduction

Hello Cintra,

Thank you for your email, and let me say how happy I am that the
engagement/discussion have begun.

Questions:
1)  regarding the position:  I went through a nomination and approval
process in October 2014.  and
2)  the vice chair position was vacated a few months ago and since the
electons were so close it remained vacant.

Thanks again for your questions and I look forward to collaborating with
you and other members.
