Dear all,

It is my pleasure to let you all know that Internet Society Asia-Pacific
Bureau together with Internet Society Nepal Chapter (host) and Federation
of Computer Association Nepal (Co-host), Nepal Telecommunication Authority,
ISP Association of Nepal (ISPAN) and National Society for Earthquake
Technology (NSET) are pleased to announce the “INET Kathmandu” conference
to be held on *18 March 2016 *at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu, Nepal. This
conference is being organized in collaboration with Nepal Telecom Authority
(NTA) and Internet Service Providers Association of Nepal (ISPAN).



The theme of the INET Kathmandu is "Learning Lessons from Nepal - Embracing
Information and Communication Technologies for Disaster Management". The
conference aims to bring together International agencies and local
stakeholders involved in emergency planning, emergency services, disaster
management and related work, anticipating over 200 participants from the
Government, Mobile Operators, Disaster management groups, International and
regional organizations, Academic institutions, ICT entrepreneurs,
commercial companies and general public.



This event is being web streamed so you all can take participate in the
event.
