The American Alliance of Museums, the Crisis Text Line, Girl Scouts,
National Council of Nonprofits, Public Knowledge, R Street, YMCA, Wikimedia
Foundation, and EFF, among others, have sent a letter today to the Internet
Society urging it to stop the sale of the Public Interest Registry to Ethos
Capital. The group has argued that .ORG is extremely important to the
non-profit community, and as such, they should have a voice in decisions
affecting the future of the domain. The group has also launched an
accompanying website:  https://savedotorg.org/
