NPOC Colleagues:
The US Supreme Court made history today by going live online, with some
judges on remote call in.
Its first case (which the NYTimes called “largely forgettable”) was
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office v. Booking.com

involved the question of whether a business
could trademark a generic name by adding “.com” to the end of it.
